Last night caught Beats & Breaks at outside Esplanade. At first was quite lazy, had to drag by butt off my bed, still in the eat watch tv sleep mode.
But when I got there was really whooh!
It was like nah ambik kau obat local music..AWESOME. And it was totally refreshing, no more of those underground bands who cant exactly sing (well partly cause its a hip hip thing and partly cause 5 over 6 of the crowd is Melayu xD) Loved loved loved Sixx, it was the first and the best performance. One girl singing one man rapping and there were drums guitars saxophones and trumpets COOL MANZZZZ gotta listen to them again..and the girl is super coooooooool she just radiates coolness and she can sing really well and pretty and cool..haiz :) And cant believe its their first outside pformance they are damn goooood man!
Then there was a long break in btw cause of the lightning then it was Sleeq! And they did one acoustics :O:O and Owmygaaaddd Alyph can soooooooo singggggggg..amayyyyyyy zingggggggg.

In between we got to talk to freaky z and rauzan and Aarika and the guy from Sixx they are all damn niceee. Freaky z really wanted us to come again today and when we talking to rauzan he was like Eh dont tell them now wait for them to come back tmr. haha. And Rauzan is so full of semangat I'm just in aweeee. When he found out we were 16 he was like You guys are great man..blabla cant rmb We need young people like you to keep this going..sth sth..all that stuff about being young and having the power to keep things going and people depend on young people to make it happen..and it all came out like he really really meant it..awesomeeeee.
Felt really great. I LOVE BEING YOUNG HAHA.
Actually feeling like you're doing something for society, seeing all these people who really want to bring Singapore music further, and on our part actually being young interns for a paper, you just want to give them as much publicity as possible MAY YOU ALL BE VERY SUCCESSFUL ONE DAY (well apart from the problem of our..or maybe just My limited writing skills :/)
And they're actually damn good lah I mean if they were in some other country they would have been really successful by now, Imean they can Sing and they can produce Good music its just the market here is pretty small..dont you think.

Sixx is just awesomeeeeeee!! hahaha.

Wowz new found respect man, those people who are so passionate about music minus all the drinking smoking sex and all that shit. Then these young people who juggle their job and school tired like want to die also but they still do it..

Haha but then after Sleeq's practically 1/3 of the crowd left haha. I guess we did our job haha.
Talked to Kak Jehan while waiting for the two to come out of the dressing room (ooh she's another awesome lady) , did a quick one and headed home.

The only thing missing is having a camera.
